Whitoro stores information needed to run the timer and show your study history on your device. This may include focus-session dates and times, focus and rest intervals, time-zone information, subject or focus-group names, goal settings and changes, timer settings, and the current timer state.
If you choose a photo for the timer background, Whitoro copies that selected photo into app storage. The system photo picker is used; Whitoro does not request access to your entire photo library. You can remove the selected background photo in the app.
Timer information may also be stored in local platform storage so supported widgets, notifications, alarms, and Live Activities can show or control the timer. These features do not send that information to a Whitoro server.
On-device information is used to run and restore timer sessions, calculate and display study records and goals, remember settings, and show the timer photo or status in supported system surfaces.
Version 1.0.0+1 does not include advertising or analytics SDKs, and Whitoro does not operate an account or cloud-sync service. Whitoro does not send your study records or selected photo to Whitoro servers or advertising and analytics providers.
Apple and Google operating-system services may handle information needed for features you use, such as photo selection, notifications, alarms, widgets, or device backup. Their handling is governed by the relevant platform settings and privacy policies. Device backup and restore behavior can vary by platform and your settings.
Whitoro has no account or server-side copy of your study records. Information remains in the app's local storage while that app data remains on your device. You can remove the selected timer photo, but this version does not provide an in-app option to delete all study history or clear all app data. You can clear app data or remove the app using your device's settings. A platform backup may retain or restore app data according to your backup settings.
Whitoro stores app information in app-specific local storage and does not transmit study records to a Whitoro server. Protect your device and review its lock-screen and backup settings.
